Great conclusion! Quite a different story than the one I saw the other day, with two dogs copulating in the road in front of our house. I know these neighborhood dogs; they run free and gambol and shit on the grass in our yard. These two were placidly stuck together, not moving and gazing in different directions as though enjoying the view, as I and cars carefully moved around them. No betrayal or stud fees here, just nature taking its course in the country.
Oof, this one packs a whallop! Beautiful storytelling and a wonderfully human perspective on something usually approached so clinically.
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it.
Heartbreaking, but a happy ending thank goodness.
